Key Features

  • Dual Protocol Conversion – Art-Net & sACN to DMX/SPI:Seamlessly converts Art-Net or sACN (E1.31) signals to both DMX512 and SPI outputs. Ideal for hybrid lighting systems with up to 512 DMX or 2048 SPI channels, enabling smooth integration into professional stage or architectural lighting setups.
  • WLED Firmware with Web Configuration Interface:Powered by open-source WLED firmware, the controller offers intuitive browser-based setup at 192.168.1.10. Easily configure LED type, pixel count, channel mapping, and create boot-up presets—no coding required.
  • Pixel Mapping for DMX Fixtures – Simplified Logic:Innovatively treats DMX lights like pixel nodes (RGB/RGBW/RGBWW), enabling them to run synchronized effects with SPI strips. Supports up to 15-channel custom mapping and presets, greatly reducing programming complexity.
  • Dual Control Modes – Local & Remote Flexibility:Operate standalone with built-in effects or switch to real-time external control via software like xLights, Madrix, or QLC+. Configurable to run WLED presets automatically when powered, ensuring reliability even without a network.
  • Wide Compatibility with LED Strips & Software:Supports a wide range of pixel protocols: WS2812B, SK6812, SM16705, APA102, PWM RGB, and more. Fully compatible with Art-Net/sACN software such as Lightkey, Jinx!, Resolume, and TouchDesigner.
  • Compact, 5V-powered design with RJ45 wired connection ensures stable signal transmission for live events. Static IP supported. Easy factory reset and SPI/DMX mixed universe output allow fast deployment in demanding environments.

4 More details

More details

  • Q1: Can this controller operate both DMX fixtures and pixel LED strips simultaneously?

A1: Yes. The PK-WLED-ASD1M supports simultaneous output of SPI and DMX signals. You can assign separate Universes or channels via the web interface, allowing one device to control both types of lighting in a hybrid setup.

  • Q2: Does the controller require a WiFi connection to function?

A2: No WiFi needed. It uses a wired RJ45 Ethernet connection for stable performance, which is ideal for stage, event, or installation environments where signal reliability is critical. Just connect it to a router, switch, or directly to your PC.

  • Q3: Can I run lighting effects without using a computer or lighting software?

A3: Yes. In Local Control Mode, you can configure and save your favorite effects (e.g. Rainbow, Android) directly in the web interface. These presets will automatically run when the controller powers on—no external control required.

  • Q4: How many LEDs can this controller support?

A4: For SPI output, up to 2048 channels are supported—around 680 RGB pixels. For DMX, the total must stay within 512 channels, depending on fixture channel usage.

  • Q5: I’m new to lighting control—Is setup and operation difficult?

A5: Not at all. The controller features an intuitive web-based configuration panel (default IP: 192.168.1.10) where you can easily adjust LED type, count, color order, and control mode. It also includes a hardware reset button for quick recovery.
